Hist/Bio Note

Johann P. Boshoff (b. 1956 d. 2016) was a gay Afrikaans writer and poet. Boshoff headed the Afrikaans translation and editing section of the National Language Service, Department of Arts and Culture. In addition to the academic publications, he has published poetry, short story, youth fiction, Christian devotional writing and journalistic writing. The Die Reformerende Kerk is mainly male and Afrikaans-speaking, a gay version of the Dutch Reformed Church and is a member of UFMCC.
