Our History...Your Legacy

LGBTQ religious movements have had and are having a profound impact upon religious and social institutions around the world.  The LGBTQ Religious Archives Network (LGBTQ-RAN) will ensure that scholars, as well as all curious students, have access to the breadth and depth of our stories—our struggles and our accomplishments--well into the future…10, 20, 50, even 100 years from now.   

You can help LGBTQ-RAN ensure that our history is known and valued by future generations with a legacy gift from your estate.  You can designate LGBTQ-RAN in your long-range plans through your will or trust by providing your financial advisor or estate planner with this information:

“I hereby give to the LGBTQ Religious Archives Network  a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization (Tax ID: 85-0899501) with a mailing address of P.O. Box 408565, Chicago, IL 60640, the sum of $_______; or _______% of the residue of my estate to be used for general support.”

Your legacy giving to LGBTQ-RAN could also include:

• Leaving a specific asset to LGBTQ-RAN to be sold and the proceeds used to support us. Such assets may include real estate, stocks and bonds, high-value artwork or collectibles.
• Naming LGBTQ-RAN as the beneficiary of all or a percentage of the proceeds from a life insurance policy or annuity.
• Naming LGBTQ-RAN as the beneficiary of all or a percentage of your IRA, 401(k) or other retirement accounts.
