Hist/Bio Note

The LGCM (called the Gay Christian Movement until 1987) began in 1976. It continues to be an ecumenical organization with links to LGBT groups of many denominations internationally. It has included local chapters since 1977, an active Women's Group since 1978, an Evangelical Fellowship since 1979, and a Young Gay Christian Group since 1982. The LGCM publishes the Gay Christian. LGCM (formerly the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement) and Changing Attitude England become OneBodyOneFaith on 14th February 2017. The two organisations have campaigned for LGBTI+ liberation and integration in churches in England for over forty years. See the website for more information.
